I had to remove the hydraulic suction line to the pump and add a 35in hose. Do I need to fill the line after I refill the reservoir. The line is filled from the bottom of the tank and sucked to the pump by siphon in normal service.

Filling the line as much as possible before attaching th last fitting will help the pump to get started and push less air into the system. But since the pump is already wet, it may prime with no problem and any air will just pass on thru to the reservoir with normal operation.

Thanks Ron for the reply. I went ahead and filled the line and all went well.
