Has anyone in Canada been able to find SUDT in the past year? Every dealer I've checked with coast to coast tells me they do not have access to SUDT, and that our equivalent is Premium UDT. I first thought it was the local dealer not wanting to stock it, but after half a dozen calls it looks like a national policy.
From what I can see on the container (pics soon) it's UDT with a cold weather additive package to bring it up to performance level of SUDT under cold conditions. I should also mention that the price is pretty reasonable, less than $16.00 CDN for 4 liters, under $80.00 CDN for 20 liter pail.
I'm starting to think the talk about Kubota trying to cut customer operating costs to a reasonable level are more true than not. Any dealer I've talked with says they've used this product for years with zero problems to date.
This is a refresh of an old thread from 2005, it is still relevant today. I'd post it in the Lube forum, but a lot of us seem to lose perspective at the door when we go in there... my opinion on that, of course.
