sugestions on a good hay baler for a dairy farmer?

i thinking about doing my own hay/silage and need help on which baler to by iv looked at a krone vp 1500 multi cut

New Holland is the big name around here. That being said a good friend of mine has a krone, not sure on number but a beautiful little 4x4 silage baler. Makes very dense, heavy bales. Hungry pickup will take about all you give it. Low HP input, noticeable fuel savings over New Holland he had before, although baler is a little is smaller than the new Holland. He really likes it and if I get into the round silage bales I will be looking for a krone.

With this year being as wet as it is the Kuhn sure does shine on the other makes we are seeing in the field.

yes thats why i like the krone i have 3 tractors and the biggest is 90 hp and i think it would run the krone very nice the bloke that does my hay/silage has a welger and there the best baler out there i think need at least 100 hp for those tho.

fellow I am talking about runs his with 75hp 4x4, never even breaks a sweat, and he has some pretty good slopes.

yeh i live on a steep farm think ill go with the krone
