Case DX33
Looking to trade rims and tires for a Case DX33. Just bought the 2001 tractor with 300 hrs and the turf tires are in excellent shape. Looking to trade them for R4 industrial tires and rims and throw in extra as needed. The front rims would not be necessary, but the back rims would need changed. For reference the turf tires are 24x8.5-14 front and 13.6x16 rear. The industrial tires need to be 25x8.5-14 front and 17.5Lx24 rear.

Any other suggestions on how to find good used rims and tires to fit this tractor? Anyone know what other tractors might use the same size?

Thanks
Chris

Not sure how to help you, but trading tires is a tough thing to do. You need someone with the same size you need, that wants turfs instead of R4's. Not saying there is no one out there, but there might not be anyone within reasonable driving distance.

To get used tires and/or rims, check some local junkyards in your area as well as tractor tire dealers.

Also, you really need to change both fronts and rears to maintain the proper ratio for the 4wd

ive got a set of R4 industrial tires from a case D35 that I want to sell.
The tractor had 949 hours on it when i took the industrial tires off and installed the ag tires.
The front tire size is 10 x 16.5 with rims. The rears are17.5L x24 with rims.

I looked in the book and the tire sizes you listed dont match for a d33 or a d35.

maybe it was just a typo, but if what I have listed are what you want, or you have more questions let me know. Im located about 1 hour south of syracuse (central) NY.
thanks
Dave

You're right David, I was off on my desired R4 sizes. I need 15 x 19.5 on the rear and 8.5 x 14 on the front so yours will be too large. Thanks for the offer.
