I'm assuming by your profile your question is in reference to a TC-40 with a 16LA front end loader. I have a TC-45D, 16LA front end loader, 757-C backhoe, with two factory remotes. The way my tractor is set up is the first valve in line from the pump is the front end loader joystick. The front end loader joystick valve has a flex line with a female quick disconnect coupling coming from it's PB (power beyond) port. With the backhoe NOT installed the PB flex line is attached to a male coupling on the hydraulic block under the operator platform (would be under operators right foot). This sends hydraulic pressure to the remotes and the 3 point hitch. With the backhoe installed the PB flex line from the loader valve is connected to the hydraulic line that runs thru the backhoe right sub frame rail. This sends hydraulic pressure to the backhoe. The male quick connect fitting on the hydraulic block is not used and a dust cap is placed over it. This configuration allows the backhoe to operate but will not provide pressure to the rear remotes or the 3 point hitch. New Holland says this is the correct configuration so the 3 point hitch will not move while the backhoe is installed.

I don't know what you mean by a front remote? How does that work?

Hope this helps. If you need more info. let me know.

Tim,

How did your backhoe attach before the front remote?

I'm currently working a "front remote" or third funtion for my FEL also. Very similar to yours, but with a different valve.

The line now coming from the FEL joystick valve, port marked "PB" (power beyond), is now the pressure going to your third function valve. Port probably marked "P" (pressure). Most third function valves don't have PB ports. So the outlet of the third function valve will be 'R" (return) or "T" (tank) this will feed the next valve in line in a open center hydraulic system. Which will be the inlet of the hydraulic block pressurizing the remotes and the 3 pont hitch.

I believe what needs to happen is the line going from your "front remote" back to the hydraulic module block needs a quick connect in it to attach to the backhoe. That's how mine will be plumbed.

Good Pics....

What kind of switch are you using to control the 'front remote" third function valve.

Hope this helps.

thanks, i'll see how that works out!
anyway, here's how i control my front remote ;) the left buttons are STILL the rabbit/turtle, the right are for the double acting cylinder..
also, i added a HORN because my children don't seem to pay enough attention to me when i back up, etc...
