Does anyone have or have seen the service manuals available for the boomers? Are they something worth getting? Is there anything available worth getting (e.g., i always buy a Hayes or Chilton manual for my autos, or Clymer for a motorcycle). Thanks!

I have all the manuals (Service and Parts) for my TC18. The parts manual you no longer need to buy, because it is now online. The service manuals are very detailed, if you are going to do anything other than regular maintenance on your tractor they are handy to have.

I find myself usually turning wrenches more than I would like to and because I do, I usually end up buying service manuals for everything I own.
I went to the local NH dealer and was quoted over $300 for the whole set (4 volumes, plus fancy NH binder.) So, looking on Ebay, I found a brand new set of factory service manuals plus the binder for $199.
Point being, these manuals are VERY informative. I highly recommend that you get them. They only cover the tractor, nothing else. If you have a loader, MMM, or backhoe those are not in there!
