Suggestions on Rear Finish Mower on JD 4066R

I just bought a 2018 4066R and I LOVE this tractor.
I'm looking for ideas, suggestions on a finish mower, before I decide on one.

So far, I'm looking at a Frontier Gm1190R 90" rear mount rear discharge mower. I like that width for my area. I'm just curious if there are other, or different options I should be looking at? I have mine set up so the front end loader has a skid steer quick attach plate on it and a set of hydraulic couplers plumbed to the loader.

I'd be using the I Match, so the quick hitch is a must for me.

I have about 7 acres to mow, but I don't mow it all every time. I have a X734 for the front lawn of the house, so I'm not worried about the tractor leaving marks on the field areas and such.
Any other suggestions?

I have a 4720 (previous model to 4066). Used a Woods RM90-2 then a Woods RM990. Both were good mowers and if the area is mostly flat will give a clean cut as long as you do not let the material get too tall.

I now use a Woods BW12. It does a nice job as well and cuts down mowing time.

How tall was too tall for it? I often let mine get 12 inches tall before mowing it. Is that too much for this unit?

Those mowers will cut 12" tall grass no problem. If it is thick you may need to slow down so the mower has time to pull up the grass you drove over.

I cut weeds tall enough the base was coming out the back of the deck before the top was past the front of the deck. The batwing is longer front to back so tall material has a better chance to pop back up while still under the deck.

I regularly mow 6~8", thick grass with an 84" finish mower set to mow at 3.5" with a 3520 and it does a beautiful job.
Better looking cut than my 72" belly mower ever did for sure.

I'm really not worried about the HP, but moreso the ability of the mower to handle the longer thicker grasses if I let it get too long..... my 4066R is 66HP, so that should play with the mower, but I don't want to have to go over everything twice if the mower is going to skip or leave trails and such behind.

Are all the Befco and Woods I match compatible? I read you can buy their bracket, but I'm just making sure it fits the I match for sure, because I hate modifying the 3point attachments.

I bought the kit for the RM990 so I could leave the iMatch on. I recall I used a PTO extender so the PTO shaft extended the same distance with the iMatch on as without. Other than that I don't recall any issues with it but I do recall thinking it was a lot of money for what you get. I actually still have the kit as the party I sold the mower to did not have an iMatch. Still have the PTO extender too but no longer need it.

FWIW, the RM90 only had tail wheels. It was more of a chore take on a off. The RM990 had front and rear wheels and would roll easy on concrete but taking the iMatch on and off for mowing did get old. Now that I use a batwing I take the iMatch off and on again.

Have you looked at the JD390 flail mower? it has an 8 foot width of cut.

I have a flail mower. Its only a 5 foot, but its not a real nice cut in comparison to a finish mower. Mines a Frontier RC2060. I had It on my 2720, and now the 4066R is in need of a much bigger mower. .
