Super Cub\'s.....
Whilst out and about the other day, I noticed a couple of super-sized Cubs on a Cub/Kioti tractor dealers lot and decided to stop & check them out.
One was a 6284 & the other was a 7532. Biggest Cubs I've ever seen....
I liked the feel of the 6284 best even tho it is a smaller tractor. I also was impressed w/the yellow 3 cyl Perkins diesel engine stuffed under the hood. It indicated it had 22Hp.
The 6284 reminded me alot of the Kubota BX & B series. The threadle pedal & dash were layed out like the BX, the larger tires & Cat1 3PH & lever placement looked like those on the B7510/B7610. The front remotes & joystick reminded of the JD 2210/4210.
I didn't see any kind of MMM height adj like the BX and since there wasn't any implements mounted, I'm going to assume that the MMM either has ground contact rollers/wheels or some sort of adj mounted back on the 3PH (like the new Turf Special B7510)
There was no FEL mounted either nor did I notice any mounting brackets for one.
The 7532 is much bigger. While I didn't spend too much time checking it out as I had to leave, the pedal layout also reminded me of Kubota, even down to the twin brake controls being on the right side along w/the hydro pedal.
They looked like very good well made machines but there was no pricing on them so I don't know where they fit compared to the big 3.
One other thing of note is that they both had the plastic/fiberglass type hoods of the same style as the smaller GT/LT Cubs.
And no I'm not shopping, but I do like to check out the machinery, especially ons I've never seen up close before /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif..
