Hello all. I have a '53 Super H in good mechanical condition that I am trying to sell. It runs really nice and starts very easily. If I were to keep it, the only thing I would do is paint it and replace the wiring harness. I even have new tires for it.

The tractor is serial #540 J - the first SH was 501. Does anybody know anyone who may be interested? I'm asking $3,000 and I am located in RI.

No, not too bad. I've been doing the Craigslist thing for a couple of months. I ended up doing an even swap with this really nice guy for a sweet little Farmall A. It was perfect - he wanted bigger, I wanted smaller. I think we both made out really good. I would say they were honestly valued very similarly. The A has a rebuilt engine and really purrs smooth. It's been painted and appears really good, except for the hood and grill and a few odds and ends. Won't take much to make it super. My Super H was really good mechanically, very straight sheet metal, but needed paint and wiring.

The one to the right in the picture is the new one. You didn't really think I'd be down a tractor, did you?
