Will a superior loader off a ford 600 work on a newer style b7100? It's for sale not far from me, he wants 1000$ with pump. I want to make sure it would work, at this time he isn't sure of model, just knows it came off his ford

Does the loader look something like the attached pic? If so, they mount to the rear axle and some member on the front. Is it a trip mounted bucket or hydraulic curl?

If you can cut and weld steel you might be able to adapt it to fit.

Post a pic if you can. Take some measurements.

If it is what I think it is, I probably would keep looking. It depends on how much work you want to do and can do, I guess.

Thank you for the reply. It's fully hydralic with pump mounted to front of tractor. I havn't seen a picture of it yet so I don't know if it's made out of pipe lime your picture or regular box tubing. I would have to pay if any fabrication work it needed. I just know I really would like A loader. My b 7100 runs great with very light use before I bought it. Our local baseball org. Dragged the infid and pulled a trailer with shovels a d diamond dry in the summer. I've really only cut grass and used a rake with it. I hate saying it but like I've heard on here before I may be better off buying another tractor with a loader on it.

I know what you mean. I have wanted a loader the Kubota B6200 I bought used since I bought it 2 years ago. I priced one at the Kubota dealership for about $3500 or better... a Woods I think it was. It's hard to justify given that was about what I paid for the tractor alone. I've been looking for used for some time but I have not found them plentiful. Brackets for mounting are pretty vehicle specific even if the loader itself fits a number of tractors.

I've finally decide to make my own but I am retired and have the time. I have not welded a lot but enough that I'm willing to tackle it.

You might find that a local fabricator can build you a loader cheaper than buying one but it will probably be a lot more than $1000.
