Supersteer and FEL work

I have a NH TC45D with 17la loader and supersteer. I really like the supersteer for tractor maneuverability, but for loader work it is a real pain. I dislike the fact that when you start to turn your wheels the bucket moves 8" in the opposite direction. It makes it a little hard to do precise loader work. Maybe I am just spoiled with the control my skidsteer gives me.

Is there a way to disable supersteer temporarily when doing loader work?

I have the exact same setup. It just takes some getting used to. I look at like backing a trailer, the more you do it, the better it gets. I have over 150 hours on my old 40D w/ SS and my new 45D. Not an issue now....
I know of no way to disable.

The geometry of SS doesn't allow for any way to disable what you're experiencing. In fact, if you think about it, there's no way around it:

When you're at a stop or a real slow crawl, turning the wheel allows the entire axle to pivot a bit. However, since the wheels aren't really turning over, the motion imparted by the steering mechanism means the axle must pivot, and as a result, the chassis must move in the opposite direction. Since the FEL is hooked on to the chassis, it shifts accordingly.

The first time I hooked up my loader, this caught me by surprise. But with some time in the seat, I have found it to be quite handy for precision movements. You don't have to have any forward or reverse motion to shift the bucket. Depending on the situation, that can be invaluable.
