supersteer

   / supersteer #11
Glad to meet another 1920 owner.... I was kinda feeling left out.. not having a boomer.
How long have you had your? I've had mine for about 6 months now. Have used it for some box blading, and pasture dragging. Also disc'ed up about 9 acres of my pasture recently. Will probably be seeding with it if we can get a little more rain here in florida.
Any particular issues with yours that you have noticed?

Thanks

I have SS on a TC33D with the R4 tires. I use it alot to move shale, dirt and gravel around with full buckets and no problems. I have a forest lot so Supersteer gets used a lot going in and out between the trees. I would not be able to get in most of the spots I do without it. Last week I had some 14 foot pine logs on the bucket forks to move them. I was able to drive through the woods zigzagging back and forth to avoid trees. Would never have been able to do that without the tight turning of Supersteer.

While the bucket counter movement can be slightly annoying at times, you can learn to use it to your advantage when things are tight. Just move the steering wheel and you can reposition up to about 5-6 inches without moving the whole tractor. This is convienent when positioning items on a trailer or on the sawmill carraige.

If you are in wider more open areas, it would probably not be worth the price.
