Suspension Seat for 4110/4115

I need a suspension seat for my 4115, as I've had neck surgery and injections and the ride with the factory seat is killing me, especially with chains on in the winter. Has anyone tried the TSC "Universal Tractor Seat with Adjustable Suspension" on a similar model J.D.? [also see thread "JD 950 Suspension Seat"]. On TSC's site, the seat gets varied reviews, especially as to modifications needed to mount it on various tractors. Any advise would be appreciated. Cheers

The seat on the 1025R is A LOT better than the seat on the 4010 (same as 4110, probably).

Don't know whether you can fit it on the 4110.

Thanks Ralph. Sorry to take so long to get back to the thread. I'm still looking and really don't want to have to go through modifications to get a suspension seat to fit. JD is no help. I'll look into the seat for the 1025R, as well as search the rest of the threads. Tom

I have a scissors type suspension that I took off my 3720 in favor of air suspension. It's got weight adjustable spring tension (factory) plus an additional pair of compression springs I added myself. They stop the scissor action from bottoming out against the rail track. Works fine, but just not sure it will bolt straight onto a 4110/4115. It's also got the optional tilt platform that permits you to fold the seat forward to rest on the steering wheel when tractor is parked. It does not however have that rubber surround depicted at the vary bottom of the diagram. No seat either, just the suspension and the tilt platform.

greg_g, I hope the air suspension seat is working well for you. From what I have found, the scissors type suspension seats that work with the larger tractors with cabs will not fit the smaller, compact tractors without cabs. It would be interesting to try it, but as you are in Western Kentucky and I'm in VT, it is not very feasible. I think I should pull up the diagram of the bolt/mounting pattern for my seat to post it so others may have suggestions as to what might fit, and/or modifications to make a suspension seat fit. Tom
