2021 Bobcat Toolcat 5600
I’m trying to use a Bobcat Toolcat 5600 with a 60” Sweeper (SWB60) to make quick work of cleaning up debris from trees on the lawn.

I think the bristle density has to be reduced greatly, maybe with some sort of spacer every other bristle set, or perhaps by cutting a couple inches off of ~50% of the stock bristles.

Curious if anyone here has experience or advice on how to come up with a gentle solution that’s gentle on a residential lawn.

If you have to use it in any areas where grass is thin, or the soil is soft I dont think you'll find a bristle broom that is soft enough to prevent damage. Handheld power brooms use rubber paddles for that reason and work really well. I would personally be looking for rubber strips to modify the broom head with. maybe something like old conveyor belt. Ive seen people use a sweeper to dethatch thick lawns and ive used a bucket broom to remove stone from grass next to driveways but the lawn has to be very healthy and thick not to get torn up.
