Jim, as far as hills go, far and few between here in Florida. My only experience is with ditch banks and as stated before, the drain field of the septic system. As far as power goes for those, no problem. chuck

Received my 2660 yesterday. Works great and plenty of power. My only complaint is that Sears told me I could get a plate to cover up the discharge chute and i guess that isn't true. It seems like the front of the chute is very low with no give being that it is steel. Have you guys had any problems with that chute? My lawn isn't the smoothest and I worry about it hitting something and possibly bending the deck.

Jim, if you mean to say things sticking up out of the lawn as "unlevel", then perhaps you may have some manual labor in store for yourself. However, if you lawn is merely unlevel, a few bumps and uneven areas, the deck wheels should take the deck over them with no problem. I can see if he deck had no wheels, then the deck would easily dig into uneven portions of the yard. What kind of problems with the unlevel yard have you encountered since you have mowed at least once with it?? chuck

I just have a few uneven spots going downhill where the water runs down and creates some unlevel conditions. But I even notice it when I am going from the lawn to the driveway which sticks up a little. Anyway I am sure it will be fine. I guess I am used to the Deere mower I had on my tractor where the chute was made of like a hard rubber and would give and bend if I hit something.
