swisher zt2350 purchase

just arrived yesterday, online purchase from rural king . arrived in crate 0 hrs. on hour meter ,very clean plastic covered. added gas started first crank ,ride is rough but the yards i mow are rough . the speed of this mower (6 mph) seems plenty for what i mow considering the rough yards. i will post results as i continue using the mower if there is any interest . thanks, jim

I will be very interested to know how you get along with your Swisher mower. I have looked at them and am still considering one. I have looked at the 60 inch model.

It's been raining here last two days , when it dries out a little i will take mower to 2 ac. camp area that is fairly smooth & report how it does there, so far i am pleased with how little gas it is using . thanks, jim

Go mow some wet grass and let us know how it handles it.... I'm curious! That is the mark of a good ZTR if it can handle wet grass without clumping.

I've had my swisher 2350 for about a month now. It mows great wet or not.I mow around my pond right through puddles no clumping.My JD 430 with 60"deck
takes 2 hours to mow 1.5 acres,..ZTR 1 hour! Wow all for under 3K.As for the 60
inch swisher it was $900 more I couldn't justify that. So I got a rotary rake and a sweeper with it . I think she will do.

Thanks for the update. I am still doing all the research I can abouit ztr mowers. I have just under 2 acres to mow and have looked at a number of ztrs both residential and commercial. I still haven't made up my mind.

sorry for not getting back sooner,very busy mowing . had a charging problem with the swisher after about 3 days of use the battery waas dead , charge it go another 3 days, dead battery. i mow about 3 ac. per wk so i couldn't be down very long ,having the mower on 10 days i called main store in matoon ,il.swapped it out, back to mowing again about 6 hrs on mower now ,let a little air out of tires seems to ride a little better . thanks, jim
