( don't recall ever claiming to be an electrical engiener. I simply was attempting to pass along what I was told, If I lost someting in the translation, maybe you would be willing to share your wisdom and help both of us newcomers, or is that not what this forum does? )
I wasn't trying to give you a hard time.. It's simply that what you said.. eg.. what you were told.. is more or less complete electrical giberish.. without some supporting information.. or a frame of context.
"It would be like walking into your doctor and telling him that your wife said that her shoulder knee bone was feeling kind of backwards and soft..."
No much to go on eh?
I've never heard the phrase 'current back into a switch' before. If the mechanic would be good enough to provide a bit more info, it would be helpfull. In all reality.. the tech doesn't understand the problem fully.. but can reead a repair bulleting enough to know what parts to replace, which, on paper anyway.. should fix the issue... I.e. mechanic via cookbook..
Again.. sorry for the confusion, and no offense intended.. and yes.. this forum is for hashing out issues like this. it just doesn't help when the tech giving you the info has a poor command of the english language.. or a poor understanding of the actual problem, and the electrical theory behind the issue.. etc.
