I have an SX3100 for about 2 years now. Great unit, no problems with the machine at all. Taking the loader on and off is as easy as it gets. Same goes for the mower deck. You just have to do it a few times to figure it out and each time it goes easier. As far as getting parts the only things i have needed was the 50 hr service stuff, Fluids and filters. No issues and it was all free. When it comes to replacing future parts due to whatever reason i can't comment on that seeing how i have not needed any. Some may not like what i have to say next but i look at it this way. Keep in mind that the SX3100 is basicly the same tractor as the John Deere 2720. Which is made by yanmar for john deere to paint it green. So let me ask you this will John Deere have parts for the 2720? I would like to think so. You may have to do alittle more research to get parts but i personally do not believe it will be an issue.
The thing i don't like about the tractor is that the MMM works with the 3pt hitch as far as up and down. So when you remove the deck for the MMM and you use the 3 pt hitch you still have the "frame work" for the MMM attached to the tractor. When you lower the 3pt hitch you have the 2 arms that raise and lower the deck will also go down. I wish it was independent of the 3pt hitch. It cuts down on your ground clearance when the 3pt is lowered and no deck is on. It has never been a problem for me in 2 years but you did ask what we didn't like so i told you what i didn't like. I think its a great machine, very well made. The only filter i have not been able to cross over to a napa filter is the hydraulic filter aside from that every other filter is an off the shelf auto parts store part.
Good luck with your shopping.
I think you'll be very happy with the SX3100 i know i am.
