We have a T 4.75 with a 655TL mechanical self leveling loader. The factory location of the bucket level indicator that is attached to the triangle piece was problematic because as you raised or lowered the loader the indicator would change even though you didn't change the bucket level.
We made a new indicator, moved it's location and it now works like our other loader indicators.
We cut a short piece of 2" pipe, drilled it to accept the existing loader pin through bolt (needed a longer bolt), welded a chain link to the end of the pipe piece with a short piece of rod in the center of the link so the indicator rod would ride dead center on the loader pin. Removed the bolt that secures the pin to the triangle piece, slid the pipe over and bolted it in place using the longer bolt.
All welding was done off the tractor so no worries about the electronics and no permanent changes to loader to affect the warranty. The attached picture shows the factory location of the level indicator and our modification that works like our other loaders do.
