Thanks that's good info. Explains why IE hadn't been answering emails. And why their stuff looked so similar.
I think I want my controller mounted on the ROP since I'll be turning around to see the 3pt when I adjust it anyway. The cover would be nice though. Like others have observed, I'd like the protection of having something between me and the hydraulic connections in case of a leak.
Haven't ordered from CCM yet because my JD dealer hasn't delivered my 790 yet. It is a used machine and the dealer is mounting a new loader on it and going through it with a full tune up and semi-refurb. They even put a new JD battery in it just because the old batter wasn't original, and it needed new battery cables. Also the hood and grill needed a little straightening. They almost got it done for delivery today, but the loader needed a bolt they were out of stock on, so next week for sure.
Once I get it I am planning to order the CCM TNT kit, but I need to play with my boxblade and carefully measure the cylinder adjustment range I want first.
I'd like to talk with anyone who has done a TNT on the 790. It is a bit different because there is apparently not a true "power beyond" port available. You have to break into the line between the loader valve and the 3pt rocker hydraulics. You take that line out and either get a kit for rear hydraulics (which is just some hydraulic lines with the banjo fittings and some rear couplings and mounting brackets (~$200), or I guess you could take the old line out and cut it apart and then splice some other couplings onto the two ends. I have not measured that line to be sure what size it is, but I think it was about 1/4" or 3/8" steel tubing. I guess you can braze a FOR-SEAL tailpiece onto the two steel tubing ends. and then use standard fittings a lot cheaper than using the JD kit.
