T-Clip ? XR3140HC

I was checking under tractor and discovered this "clip?" hanging. It moves around so is attached to something....

It obviously has been there this whole time as it is painted, but it is just hanging there and totally lose.

I have dealer manuals on engine, tranny, etc etc but I cant find anything about it. So it is kind of a WTH?

Curious if anyone else has it.

Learned something, the pin itself is shown in the parts diagrams but not doing anything other than existing. Now I know.

Just go to Parts - LS Tractor USA click on "Look up your Part" and then pick your model
That pin is shown in the HST transmission section.
