International 1066 Full sized JCB Loader/Backhoe and a John Deere 430 to mow with
Been debating on trying to put a TNT onto an International 890 (or 889...forget actual number)

Anyways, it has two pair of remotes on back and I think another pair available to me if I dig into the system somewhere.

That isn't much of a concern to me yet...

Here's my question...

As I envision myself using a boxblade on the back of this tractor, I like the idea of a T&T system. I do not though, really care for the idea of two different levers, one controlling up/down and the other controlling side to side.

Is it possible to put a 4-way joystick into the system so that one stick alone can handle the up/down and side/side movements, much like the 4-way valves that are on my backhoe controls??

I'm thinking if I can start there as a "that's where I want to be" reference point, then it can be worked backwards, figuring out what else I need to make that kind of setup work.

I presume this idea would be more expensive than the normal setup? If so, any guesses as to how much more?

You bet.

In fact, I believe Surplus Center has a valve just like your looking for.

Yes, it's possible. First you have to check if your valve (already in your system) can accept a joystick to operate it. Many times there are. Otherwise you have to buy a valve which does. As a matter of fact, CCM Hyrdraulic TNT Systems offers a joystick controlled system.

I've been thinking of a Fasse type solenoid valve in my loader circuit to control a future T-n-T. That way I can use the loader joystick and just flip a switch to use it for T-n-T. Besides cost of the Fasse valve, any reason not to do this?

Actually, that's a pretty good idea. Have only one stick to control everything.
Only drawback I see is forgetting to flip the switch when needed. Probably more of a problem for me than for you though. Plus, once you got used to it, no problem. Reason I brought that up is because I often change the position where I hold the bucket while doing ground engaging work in the rear. Like lifting it while turning to avoid something. I've gotten used to carrying my bucket low until I really need to move it, and I move it back after clearing the obstacle. But I do it on the fly while I'm approaching. So if I forgot to switch, then whamo!:)
Heck, that should be easy to overcome though.
