Both are about the same power, but what are the differences between these two?

Coming from a 1710 so trying to compare.

Thanks.

Don't see much difference in the two. I have a Ford 1920 which is 33 hp. It is a much larger tractor than the Ford 1700 I had. The loader on the 1920 is weak. Not sure how they are on the two you are looking at. Are you looking at hydro or gear units

I'm used to gear so would prefer to stay with that. You feel the 1920 loader is weaker then one on a 1700?

Probably about how the same lifting capability. But the bucket curl is very, very weak. If I get stuck it does not have the power to get me out. From what I can find both loaders are rated for about 800 lbs. I can lift 1000 lb round bales over 4 feet high with both. Just wish the loader on the 1920 was a little stronger.
