NH T1520
I used an idea from this forum to make an inexpensive snow cab for my NH T1520. I'm sure this work for other compacts too. I found a golf cart rain cover on amazon for about $100 and spent $28 on 3/4" pvc and fittings. The pics show what I have so far. I can't believe how well this worked out. I haven't glued the frame together yet, still working on it. I used the detatch handles on the FEL to hold the front of the pvc frame and the light brackets on the ROPS to hold the back. I am going to put a small 12 volt heater in it clamped to the ROPS. I will post more details and pics when I get back to it. I also need to use a hair dryer and smooth out the clear plastic.

Very nice. When you go to glue, would be great if we could see pics with just the frame, not covered up. Thanks and congrats!

That looks pretty nice, light weight, and simple.

I took a slightly different approach with mine.

Rotating emergency lights, 400w motorcycle stereo, backup camera, flood lights, running lights.

I did pretty much the same thing. Used a golf cart canopy for the cover. I used one inch conduit. Bent it almost to 90. Drilled a hold in the ROPS and bolted it on to it. Then used a already existing hold by the loader arms. Bolted it there. I then ducted taped it to the ROPS to prevent shaking. Works awesome. Easy to removed. Less then $100 Will work on some pics. My tractor is a N H tc 18. similar to yours. Put a back up camera on to. But it sucks. Can't zoom out enough to see anything. Thx. to this forum for offering us ideas and people taking the time to post their idea's/help.

I like it! I have the same tractor and I'd sure like something to keep the snow blower blow-back off of me. I may have to copy your idea.

I haven't glued it together yet, it has been way to cold. I did try it out with a 300 watt 12 volt heater and it worked great. I did have a little problem with the windows fogging up so I need to rethink the heat. I also found plastic pvc clips on amazon used to clip clear plastic to PVC on green houses. I used it to clip the fabric to the frame. Worked out great. I will post more pics.

Here is a pic of just the frame. My to do list has gotten big now that the snow is gone so I will put this on hold until later in the summer.

You just need a fan to circulate the air,my michican loader fogs up in the cab too,I simply put a cheap 20 dollar fan they type you see in old school buses with the metal cage, aim it at the windshield, problem solved.

A 4" computer muffin fan will move tons of air and do so using less than 1 amp.
Mounting is the challenge but can be done.
While my cab has heat fans are still a necessity to prevent fogging.
