Loader T233/273/293 3rd Function Kit and mid-PTO option

I found this on a price list, and would like to know more about the kit.

Anyone have one installed, what will it allow me to do, how is the third circuit added and controlled on the joystick?

Pictures would be great.

Also see there is a Mid PTO kit as part of the mower deck. I would really like to find one for a reasonable price. Still considering putting a front-mounted snow blower on my 273 if I found a good used one, but need the mid PTO kit for it to function correctly.

Please share what you know on either of these options.

I'm pretty sure we have a complete 60" front mount blower, with PTO kit, and the elect chute controls here. ( at least that is how it was ordered but the unit has been in inventory a long time) Would make you a smoking deal on it, but I'm in upstate NY. been in stock a long time, make you a smoking deal on it.

I have what I believe is the kit you are referring to. I have a t233 with the mid pto and a belly mower. The 3rd hydraulic function is not controlled on the joystick but rather by a lever mounted below the seat that will retact two hydraulic cylinders attached on either side of the deck to raise it. The tractor was purchased from my uncle, and I would have to look at the paperwork I got from him to see if the mid pto kit is listed and what the part number might be.

The mid pto is controlled with the lever to the left of the seat, with mid/mid+rear/rear settings and the pto on/off button on the dash.

I am surprised to hear of you wanting to use the mid pto for a front mounted snowblower. I have removed my mid mounted mower with no intention of using it again and assumed that there was no other function the mid pto could serve.
