2017 LS XJ2025 (Sold)
Good Morning everyone.
Long story short. I sold my LS. On the hunt for a new tractor (35-40hp range/Shuttle). I've been looking everywhere respectfully. One of the local dealers in my area sells TYM. He has a very stout looking T354. I've looked at the brochures and I'm impressed by the numbers I'm reading.

Like I mentioned earlier, my previous tractor was an LS. So naturally, that's where I started. The 40hp in my budget for the brand was really impressive....until I sat in it. I'm 6'3" 230lbs. I felt a little cramped to say the least.

When I went to check out the T354, I was equally impressed overall. Then I sat in it....and I was surprisingly comfortable! I would have never guessed there was that much difference in operator stations between these two.

All that leads me to my question. I've been on the hunt for real world reviews and youtube nor google really have much to offer.

The tractor would be used for a small hay operation (small sq. bales) property maint. on my 8 acres, brush hogging and maintaining my 1/2 mile private road year round.

Does anyone on the awesome forum have one of these machines? How do you like it? Is yours shuttle or hst? Have you had any issues with yours at all?

Thanks,

There is a T433 and T353 for sale in my country, one from 2012 with 3340 hours and another from 2013 with 3300 hours, both still look like new machines. Most of hours put on our tractors are with brush mowers, so the tractors are pushed to limits with those.
Our brush mowers use big chains instead of regular blades to shred thicker and higher brush. This eat a lot of HP of the machines.

Now, you're looking at the T354, which I believe already come with a Kukje engine, that's basically a Cummins build under their license. Kukje it's the parent company of Branson, and TYM bought Kukje a couple years ago.

I've looked at those and they look really nice. Really similar to mine, although Branson builds their tractors heavier duty than most brands.

What nice about these South Korean brands, is that they come standard with a lot of features that are optional on the bigger brands, for a lot less money.

The T354 has a Yanmar engine not the Kujke. It is almost an identical machine to the Rural King RK 37. Outdoor with the Morgan’s on YouTube has a review on it.

Yeah, you're right. My bad. Confused the T354 with the T474. It's the 48HP tractors that come with Kukje engines.

Well, I'm going tomorrow morning to check out the T354 again at the dealer tomorrow to make sure I'm not missing anything. And if everything goes good, we'll be doing the paperwork on the spot.

Well, Good New! We signed on the T354, snow plow and.......the cab! Which apparently they were having a special on. This one was the ol' ladies idea actually, very surprising, I know.

But now the hardest part of the tractor shopping/buying process is in full effect, the wait. We should have it by friday from what I'm told though.

Thanks.
I'm hoping it'll feel right at home here on our little homestead. Tilling, grading, mowing and our hay production. That has been my only question. But everything I find says it should do just dandy making our small sq. bales. Heck, the dealer even mentioned a previous customer bought the same model, only hst, and hasn't been let down yet.

I had a LS and was very happy with it. However, I wanted a cab because I am getting soft in my old age. I also started looking at LS but it was too tight. I also am a large man, but I am taller horizontally than you...lol. I ended up with a TYM 494 a month ago. I am extremely happy with it. Then 494 is larger than what you are getting, but I am so glad I made the jump. I researched different tractors for a full year. I believe I made a good choice, I do not think you will be disappointed. I ended up with a shuttle shift, I prefer it over the hydro.

Same. I felt way more comfortable in the TYM T354 compared the LS XG3140. Leg room is an absolute necessity. I also agree on the shuttle opinion. Man, Friday cannot come soon enough. I swear I'm more anxious/excited waiting for my new tractor than my 5yr old is when he's waiting for Christmas. Although he's pretty wound up waiting for the tractor too. He told me just last night that he's going to plow our road for me this winter so I won't have to do it all the time. I love that kids ambition towards machinery. My brother has already been scouring amazon for speaker and a stereo for it as well as a couple of LED light bars. I think my whole family is rather pumped actually.

And the more research I do, the more I'm inclined to believe that we'll have no issues making all the hay we need, as far as the tractor goes.
