The T4030 is the replacement for the TN75s, which I have. Mine is an '02 and it has been very serviceable. The only problems I've had were electrical and after two years it was finally diagnosed as a faulty tilt sensor. I never lost any seat time with that, but that blinking trouble light nearly drove me crazy. The only thing I really don't like is that huge hump in the middle. I much prefer the flat floorboard that a lot of the new tractors have. Are you getting a cab? The air coming out of the ceiling is FAR superior to vents coming out of the dash. I very much prefer that....and that is the reason I didn't get a T4.75 during my frustration period with the blinking trouble light. Are you looking at the 12 or 16 speed model.....I highly recommend the 16. I have mixed emotions about the mechanical vs. electric shuttle. I do use the electro shuttle, but if your dealership doesn't have the diagnostic computer to hook up to it, I would avoid it. That's why it took two years to figure out what was wrong with mine. What are you planning to do with it? This is a couple of levels above the Boomer 3045 mentioned above. I use a 10 foot rotary cutter, a 100 inch finishing mower, 7 foot disc harrow, 6 foot rotor tiller with power to spare. I don't have a FEL on this tractor, it's on another one, so I can't speak to that. Hope this helps you. Just saw you said it had a cab...sorry. Does it have super steer??

I owned a T4050 Deluxe for about four years. Mine had all of the bells and whistles including 16X16 hydraulic shuttle Super Steer, etc. It was a wonderful machine, and I sold it with trepidation only because it was not well suited for my needs due to changes in plans.

That said, were I to buy a similar tractor again, I would look at Kubota and MF as both offer 6 speed synchronized transmissions (2 range) rather than the NH 4 speed synchronized and 3 or 4 ranges. Having six synchronized speeds is a significant improvement as it reduces the need to stop to change ranges as conditions change.
