T5040 power steering problem

I have a T5040 I bought in July of 2011. The power steering is not working properly. It started as though it sometimes felt like it was jerky in steering. Now it doesn't want to steer at all sometimes. Any suggestions?

I think those have a separate pump for the power steering, and I believe there is also some sort of bypass that diverts available hydraulic flow to other systems when needed. It could be as simple as a bad valve someplace, or you could have a bad pump. If it's still under warranty, sounds like a trip to the dealer would be a good idea.
