t5060 front axle

Rebuilding front final drive on t 5060,trying to find torque for nut that holds hub to steering knuckle. Book that I have says 289 foot pounds, sounds way to tight to me. Thanks in advance

That's what the torque was for the T6050.
We didn't have a torque value the first time we had to replace the seals in the front hub,
it didn't last a year and we had to completely rebuild the planetary and replace several high dollar pieces.
This last time we lubed the bearing and torqued it while rotating the wheel, backed it off and then rotated the wheel again
while torquing it till the wheel stopped rotating easily. Then brought to spec and locked it down.
