My new (under 10 hours) T574 is calling for a DPF regeneration. My owners manual (which has a lot of misinformation) does not address DPF regeneration at all, and does not even picture the regen button in pictures of the dash board. I downloaded a generic manual from TYM that gives a procedure but the manual is based on a Yanmar engine while mine is a Kukje. Anyone have any experience with this? I guess that the procedure must be done with engine hot, max rpm, but not while operating - such as mowing. How long will it take? The TYM manual also says "Cleaning logic (30% valve operation) is performed at every key-On after electronic exhaust valve leaning." I guess that "leaning" is a typo, but what does this sentence mean? Also, why does the tractor have a Kenwood stereo when you can not hear it over the engine noise? Thanks.

On the regin on my tractor what i do is increase the RPM to 2000 or 2200 to help the temp to increase and keep doing what you were doing, just use common sense on grass cutting I use my tractor with a 6 ft finish mower and no way its going to catch anything on fire. You will find that regin is directly related to the RPM you operate the engine, if you operate at low RPM it will regin more often.
