2 years ago my nephew bought a new 6050. Currently has just over 600 hours and is in the shop yet again. Second time around for the fuel injection pump leaking.

First time Bosh warrantied the pump, this time they say the pump cavitated. Now they are saying they won't warranty it.

The tractor has NEVER ran out of fuel, if it had cavitation it had to have sucked air through those cheap snap together fittings.

Been told that bosch has been having problems with this pump, they know it and aren't addressing it.

If you are having any problems or know of any one having problems I want to know about it.

As it stands right now, Nephew called New Holland Monday morning. The Lady he spoke to called him back that afternoon and told him they where sending the regional rep out to talk it over with the dealer.
So its wait and see time.

We have been informed by an independent shop That Case/IH and Cummins are both having trouble with Bosch pumps. Part of that problem is the snap together fittings on the fuel system, They leak and suck air.

It sucks that that he paid out 68,000 cash for a new tractor and at 600 hours its basically a huge paperweight.
