Tires T75D tires

I posted this message above, but thought perhaps this might be a better place too...

Hi...got our used 2000 NH TN75D bought and home, and have a tire question for the experts! Right now it has 10.5 X 20" industrial tires on the front, and 16.9 X 24" industrials on the back. We need to replace the tires, but Dad wants to up the size of the tires, requiring different rims I'm sure. He was thinking of 16.9 X 30" Ag tires for the rear, but after reading some threads it doesn't sound like he would have enough clearance for chains if he wanted to added them down the road. That leaves us with 28" rims and tires for the back. What size rims and ag tires do we need with that setup for the rear, and then what do we need to change the front rims and tires out to to match? Also, is there a place to trade or swap out rims for a reasonable price? We have the 32LA loader that we will use for snow removal and moving round bales. I checked my local dealers and they were very little help! Thanks for your assistance! Mark

we run 16.9x24 on the back not sure whats on front got some with R4 and R3. As for the chain diff cant help you there no snow here. But we deal with a local ag tire dealer here they work with us. Sorry but I quess this didnt help much.

I would first go to NH web site and look up the specs of that model.
You will PROBABLY find a list of factory tire options, which might be all you need if they specify max rolling circumference.
With luck you may get max diameter and width for singles, for duals, with chains, etc.

You should at least be able to find the original R1 dimensions.
These may or may not be what is on it now, even when new it might have had a wheel and tire change to suit the first owner - and even that could have been less than optimal (or dumb).

Take that info to any of the ag tire web sites, look up the rolling circumference of the front and rear tires to get the ratio of front/rear drive.
STICK WITH that ratio, at worst go a couple of percent more lead, absolutely avoid going with less lead.

Ag tire web sites; Firestone and Goodyear, though they're probably Bridgestone and Titan.

Thanks everyone for your help! Looks like I need to get an owner's manual for it. I think we found a set of used 16.9 X 28's for the rear, and can still use our 20" rims on the front, but go to a 12.4 X 20 tire instead with good results. Anyone have that particular setup and what has been your experience? Thanks again...

Buying a used tractor doesn't preclude someone from buying an operator's manual for it.

I purchased one for my NH TN75 on ebay for around $20. It was new and in perfect condition. Has helped in many ways. I'd be lost without it.

got one coming off of ebay...thanks! Does anyone know where to look for used rims to upgrade the tire size?? I am striking out here locally. I've got 20" on the front and 24" on the rear, but would like to get 24" on the front and 30" on the rear. Tires wouldn't be a problem, but finding rims without spending a fortune is very hard! Thanks!
