Tach Cable for B7610

Anyone know a part number for this. I searched Tractorsmart.com for "tach cable" but came up empty handed.

Mine broke 3" or so up from where it mounts on the engine. Near the clip that holds it. ACtually, I think the clip is what caused it to break.
Anyhow, anybody bot any info?

I could go see the dealer, but having it shipped to my house is a lot easier. IF I get a part #.

I have the parts book for the 7610 but I can't seem to locate a tach cable. There is a wiring harness behind the gauge cluster listed but the only cable in the whole book is for the hour meter.

I would think that the hour meter cable is what you need.It's the same as the tachometer cable.The tachometer/hourmeter is just like the speedometer/odometer in a car.There is one instrument driven by one cable that totals the distance/hours while showing the user the rate(the RPM'S in this case)of usage-MPH vs RPM.How tough will the replacement be?Good Luck!

I had to replace mine in my 7510 last year and yes, it is the hour meter cable, which drives both the tach and HM.

Thanks Evil for the part number. Have ordered it.

Removed the old one entirely.

That end near the engine sure was tight with the fan there. Had to disconnect the muffler for more room. Was still a little tight.
