Just bought a early 70's 4000 with 8 speed trans. The tach was not working so I pulled the instrument cluster. There was no cable. I have looked in the I & T shop manual and could not find any info on where the other end of the cable should connect. Can any body help.

runs to the back of the genny.. though there was an alternate drive location, at least on the 5000 anyway..
