I'm going to make a bold statment.
I bet all the tach cables on the Gc2300 2400 2600 series that break, all break at the end near the gauge. To be more specific they all break right at the bend in the metal fitting,when it screws onto the tack gauge. I'm on my third now. OH yes! I have done the grease and lube thing on these.
A 90 degree gear or some sort of worm gear at this end would stop what appears to be common problem, would it not. Just thinking.
Any thoughts on this, that the Massey people could take note of.
