Tach repair 1700

Does anybody someone who repairs tach/hourmeters. My tach works fine but hourmeter died a couple of years ago.

You might find that it would be cheaper to just buy a new tach/hour meter. Here is a co. that I called when I needed one for my 1715 ISSPRO.com Your home for quality Gauges, Tachometers, Speedometers, and more!. The New Holland part # for a model 1700 starting 1/1/79 is SBA385450170.
If you do a GOOGLE search of that number the places that have it available run in price of about $150. Messicks did not have that item available.
If you want to check the part numbers for the model 1700 you can go to New Holland USA - Tractors - Agricultural machinery - Combines, etc. .

I have purchased several parts from them. Also a tractor salvage in Raisin City, CA Myers and Ward

The one place had a new one for $240, kinda pricey. I don't know if a hourmeter is worth that much to me. I did leave my email at a couple of the salvage places if one comes in.
