Hi All,
In preparing for a cottage addition (which is now closed in and almost finished on the outside), I had to remove a section deck and move it to another part of the cottage. I did not want to totally dissemble it, so of course the green machine tractor was the perfect tool for the job. After cutting it apart from the existing deck and removing the anchor bolts..........
Deck Removed and location of addition

I then used the DF (with attached steel cable with the bucket hooks) to pull it away from its location and pull it around the corner of the cottage close to its new intended location. i was then able to lift the far end high enough to get a long log under the end that would go against the cottage. After maneuvering back to the front, I could lift the front end and roll it into position. I could then lift each corner at the cottage side and block it to the correct level

The Final Resting Spot

Next year I plan a small "mudroom" where the deck is. It will be rotated 90 deg. to accommodate the new location. It was great fun using all that power to good use and even without tipping over ;D. even better to justify its existence to my better half.

Its been a very busy but fun summer building. I'll add a thread on the addition some time as well. Turning out real nice.
