I have a TAFE 5000DE I purchased new in 2000. Mostly used for haying and brush hogging. This same tractor was sold as a Massey Ferguson 200 series tractor, I think maybe a 2wd 243. After 16 years my hydraulic cross shaft on the 3 pt hitch broke at one end. On line I find a replacement for MF which seems to fit all 200 series tractors. Can someone tell me if this would be the correct part? Also can I just pull the broken shaft out the side after removing the tire and ROPS attachment?
