Tailwheel laminated tire repair possiblr?

Is it possible to repair this tire?
I'm sure that I retrieved all of the pieces.
Absent advice to the contrary, my guess is that replacing the whole wheel is much more sensible.

How were the ends of that steel strap attached together? My guess is a pin or something.

I didn't realize those were just made out of chunks of truck tire sidewall...

Most any dealer can get laminated tailwheels. They are pretty universal.
