Taking a step back, looking at potentially new tractors

Your trailer is limiting your purchase. My L3130 Kubota with a loader and bush-hog barely fit in a 24' garage.Move up in trailer size and tractor if wanting to run a six foot BH.At least 40 HP.

I have my love for hydro's and not only are they the best for loader work they are the best for PTO work. I would wonder the need of a bigger tractor unless you are short of time!! Diesels like to run and with a six foot cutter on ten acres at 4 mph you would only need four hours to mow! With a B-2650 and a 5ft brush hog you still can cut two acres an hour at four miles per hour! The one thing that I like on a tractor and it also enhances the resale even if you didn't use it would be a set of rear remotes. Just remember after the first clean-up what you will be doing with it as that is what you need to be the most proficient at not the initial ground clearing!!!!

Thanks for all the advice. If I go new, I'm not going to restrict myself based on the trailer, and make sure and save up to get what I want.

The advice on the individual options for the Kubota is great as well.

I'll spend some time in the seat of tractors from the dealers around town, as that seems highly advisable.
