Taking care of the Livestock this winter in Comfort

I used to dread feeding my cattle in the winter. Feeding on a open station tractor was sometimes in weather that was sometime freezing and sometimes wet. Now with a cab tractor, I enjoy the feeding chore and in addition, I can take more time and do a much better job while checking on the animals welfare. A New Holland TD80 with Loader, as shown in the link below, would sure make someone a nice addition the the farming operation. Ken Sweet

been there...done that too.. cabs a good investment for all year comfort. knew that it would be good in winter but is good in summer keeping you out of the dirt and dust and the sun. teddering hay one day with a open tractor i was good going one way and my back got covered up and going down shirt collar going the opposite way. made a couple of rounds and got my cab tractor. now when i mow hay i just unhook my mower and hook onto the tedder.

I agree with you. Getting out of the dust and pollen as well as the cold and heat is a plus for me. While running the brush hog, I feel a lot safer away from the cutter discharge. Ken Sweet
