Thomas,
Thst poor B6100 looks like it spent it's previous life in Beirut as a target. it is amazing how some people just don't care how they treat or take care of things.
But it also makes a statement for Kubota. That machine took a beatin and it's still here to tell the tale. I bet in the right home and hands, there is still alot of life left in her !!!!!

I got to say, That is the kind of stuff I love working on. It just feels good to put some time, and effort into something that realy needs it. Plus the price on stuff is usly real good. BTW, is it for sale?/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Not for sale..the owner bought the B6100 in for repairs, for the rear hub in such bad shape the L.H. tire wobbles.

Yep that would be a good winter fixer up project indeed.

Thats a good example why i dont loan out my backhoe or tools. Because some folks dont even care about there own things. I worked for a company from Missouri building a water treatment plant, I was an operator and jobsite mechanic. It drove me crazy to see the new boss put a laborer on a nice peice of equipment and watch him destroy it. We had a new 580 Case and the pipe foreman Jim let all his labors use it fo a go buggy they got it stuck one night and then tried to use a trackhoe to dislodge it because the couldnt figure out how to unlock the boom. Needles to say they didnt want to get a sling or choker they just hooked it be hind the load tilt cylinger broke that, then beat the hood to death. The company owner told me fire ther 2 idiots as they werent even supposed to be in that section off the service road, let alone on my new excavator. Expensive lesson at 2500 dollars
