Taking delivery of my first Yanmar this afternoon!

I finally found the right tractor after a seemingly endless search. Thanks guys for all the good advice and answers to my numerous posts on this (and other) forums. I ended up finding just what I wanted only 30 miles from home and the guy was willing to deliver for free. I decided on a YM2610 that is in very good condition. The tractor has been fully serviced (seat, battery, all fluids and filters and hardware as necessary) and only has ~1100 hrs (relatively low I have found for the higher HP tractors). The tractor has all original paint/decals and all the lights and signals are functioning. I think I got a very fair deal for $4700 cash. I was really sold on the extra weight and HP of the bigger tractor and the powershift is wonderful. I'll post pictures as soon as available.

Can't wait to hook up my 6' disk and blade and start working up my yard. I'd like to get some seeding done before the season is over.

Thanks again for all the advice. (I hope I don't need any mechanical advice in the near future - but if so I'll know where to come).

good price on that one. If you want a good story opportunity just find a nice hill to go down, the make a sharp turn to the left or right!!

tractorErnie - I'll definitely keep your unwise experience in mind when I get my tractor. There isn't a 2ft deep stream behind my property but rather a 5 acre pond. If I pull your stunt I'll probably never see my tractor again!!!
