Taking delivery on farm Pro 2425 tomorrow!!

Hello. As mentioned, expecting my new 2425 to be delivered tomorrow! I have picked up alot of great info from the threads here. Got the Farm Pro to manage 5 acres. It is all on a hill side, wooded. We are in the process of building a horse barn. Will be using the tractor to clear bush, install fence, some minor grading, snow removal and other stuff. I have found this site to be a great source of info, lots of knowledgeable folks. thanks!!

Welcome to the group mooneypilot. I'm new here myself. My property is loaded with trees also and the smaller size of these tractors is great for getting into the tight spots. Today I'm probably going to begin cutting a 8-10' path down to the lower acreage. Supposed to be 62 degrees here today! Hope you enjoy your new machine. You sound alot like what I have. I have 6 acres with horses, barn in progress, and about 50% fairly steep hills. I adjusted my front and rear wheels to their maximum outer setting after several heart stoppers on the hills. Makes a big difference. Be careful on those hills!!! You'll have a great time with your tractor.

Just found out the delivery is delayed until Saturday (tomorrow). Just one day, but I was really looking forward to getting it here. Oh well.. thanks again for the post...

Hi Jswisc. I am glad you mentioned turning the wheels for max width. The dealer had told me about doing that since I mentioned our "hilly area". After reading your post I think I will turn them before I begin using it. Great advice. thanks.
