Any one know how much gear lube a 6ft Tarter tiller takes for the initial fill?
This is the only piece of euipment I have that takes 85W-140 gera lube and only want to get what I will need.

Thanks
jeff

Roughly 4 quarts total w/ 1 qt. on top box, 3 qt. on side. Add slowly toward the end as it doesn't level out quickly & you can end up with a lot coming from the witness hole if you pour too quick (guess how I know...)
I bought a gallon jug at JD and used pretty much all of it.

The above is predicated on the assumption that the gear boxes on the 6 ft. are the same as the 5 ft.

I thank you, I bought 2 quarters yesterday but after getting home and looking figured it wasn't enough.
