If you haven't already, you might try asking the same question of the guys on the Chinese Tractor Owners Association message board. I know that there are owners with varying opinions of TaskMaster who contribute regularly.

What part of the country do you live in?

I can post on the dealing swith Taskmaster,They are good people to deal with,I have ordered equipment from Rodger b4,I havnt owned a tractor by them so I cant comment on the tractor,im sure they are as reliable as and easy to to maintain as the Jinma tractors

I am getting ready to make an order of Jinma tractors this spring. I can set you up with a tractor and loader far cheaper than anyone else, and i live in Wisconsin. Let me know if you are interested. I would not buy from taskmaster if you live in wisconsin. If you want good dealer support and a labor warrenty then try Delgen tractors, in the wautoma area. if you want to save by doing your own assembly i may be your best bet. Let me know, schmitt@netwurx.net

Competition

From Mr. Schmalts 's message, I think perhaps many long time dealers for China Tractors will face many competitors in the future. Everyone of these competitors will think of buying tractors directly from the Original or a cheaper sources. Why and how this happenes? Because Jinma doesn't sign a sole agent contract or agreement with any dealers in USA. As my known, my company (http://www.good88.com) has at least 20 buyers from everywhere of USA. They bought Jinma(JM) directly from China, cheaper than buying from dealers in USA.
No sole agreement signed, no one except the factory can control it now.

For the SN series tractors we are handling, we have agent in USA. For the HB tractors 50HP~70HP, we do not have an agent at present. Does anyone want to be our agent of tractor HB series 50HP~70HP? Click http://www.good88.com/t-4wheel-hb-photos.htm and view the photos of HB. Once the agent agreement for HB signed, no one else can sell it to other buyers in the named territory of USA in the future.
