Yeah, stay away from them...they are junk, plain and simple...I've been in this busines too long and seen too many poorly made machines and Task Master tractors are about the worst I've come across.

That sounded like an unbiased opinion coming from a dealer who sells other brands. You would probably do better getting an opinion from someone who actually owns one. You might get more responses if you ask this in the Chinese forum also.

Yeah, that might have been harsh, but I have seen enough of them to know that I would never own one and would never even think about selling them.

I think If you are gonna use strong oppinions like this I would hope you could discuss why you feel this way, I know many happy owners and sell them myself so I would be currious what created all this negativity re the TM brand.
Not only are you bad mouthing TM but the mother manufacturer DF ........ Like all China brands they all have there issues but talk like this is not productive for anyone !

I have a TM426 and have had it for a year and love it. You have to remember that the Chinese are twenty years behind us in quality but I’m sure that they will be catching up quickly. If you’re expecting a Kubota don’t look here! Every thing is manual! But compared to my friends Kubota I can out pull him! However if your looking for the most bang for the buck it the one. You have to check the bolts for coming loose quite often; maybe I should change out the lock washers! I have has a fuel leak at the top of the Fuel tank, and a very slight hyd. leak where the lines connect to the cylinders on the loader! The new model has welded fittings! Make sure that where you get it that they carry parts i.e. oil filters etc. My dealer doesn’t seem to want to carry the small parts so I have to send away for them! By the way does anyone have a cross reference for a JX0707!

If you need any help with your filters let me know, I am a dealer of Taskmaster and will help how I can , you are correct they have a few small issues but I think from a dealer point of view they are a great machine......... I have a problem with people who down play TM and wont elaborate on the issues they have, I am willing to help how I can.
