Taxidermy - where do you buy

pH strips? I admit this is one of those 'I am a foreigner" questions. In my country, the pharmacy would carry them. In this country, the pharmacy (like CVS) does not know what the hoot am I talking about.

Any store that has a pool supply dept or a freestanding pool store.

Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes and maybe Sears.

Pool supply places don't typically carry the correct papers. Neither do the hardware stores. The only place I've found them is taxidermy supply companies. They all have them.

McMaster Carr sells multiple range testing papers. Search for 'pH Testing Paper'

I used simple ph strips from a local pool supply store when I was doing pelts during my war with the beavers.

Dip and dispose. They seemed to do the job just fine.
