Does anyone know much about these?

I know the one i seen is gear driven and i think it was 6 tines per blade. I can get about the same price/tad cheaper than a KKII. I know lot of people like the KKII for it's "price for what you get" category. Is the mccormick (taylor) one the same way. reason for the mccormick tiller is that it has a nice painted/pwd coated look to it. Can't stand buying a NEW attachment at full price that looks horrible and has surface rust showing already(almost any KK piece of equip out there)
Thanks

I think taylor is a division of KK somehow.

DA* I looked/shopped for a year or so for a 6' tiller almost bought a ccm 185 tiller looked stout but they never emailed/called me back ... I also checked toylor-pgh, taylor-way farm pro... many others all gear driven, Is this what you are asking about? painted red ?* One thing I saw for sure in almost all new equipment was they were using less steel/Iron in them .I guess scrap price of metal and the shipping costs forced them to trimmm.so I opted to buy Knew old stock !! I descided on a KKII , last years model and a pint of paint .I've used it to till so far 5 acres this year ... $1925.00 out the door* so far I'm very happy with it .*** K9

I have seen Taylor products brand new at tsc crated in king kutter packaging,so they may be the same company.King kutter also makes a "professional" tiller that costs 400 or so dollars more, king kutter told me the only difference was that it was quick hitch. It does look a little different Too,all the same mechanical parts though.

All of the talk about tillers everywhere on here and no one knows much about this tiller?

yes the taylor pgh one that is branded as mccormick. Nice paint job. Hate paying close to $2000 for something that looks like crap and has rust showing already.

Yes. They are basically the same tiller.

Taylor Pittsburgh is a division of King Kutter.

It has the same gearboxes (gear driven) and same rotor and tines (six per flange) as the King Kutter's do.

I think they are a good looking tiller, a dealer near me has them in orange for 5'-$1375.00 AND 6' FOR JUST UNDER 1500.00, think I might have to purchase me one of these,

Another confirmation of the KK/Taylor-Pittsburgh relationship:

When I got my KK2 tiller, the steel straps on the shipping "crate" had Taylor-Pittsburgh bands on them.
