TC-18 s or 21 s

How are the 18s and 21s holding up ? My 18 is just GREAT !
We don't have much snow in CNY,as a lot of you know,but it's snowing as I write this and the time I have spent on Lil'BLUE has been more FUN than work ! It's done everthing I've asked of it and then some ! How do you other owners like your's ? dass

I have the TC21D, and love it! We havent had any snow yet, but all i plan on useing is the FEL to plow the drive way when we do get snow. So mean while im yanking some down trees out of my hedge row and cutting them up like i did all fall. I have the 60" mmm and it mows my 4 plus Acres of lawn. The 48"KK brush cutter i got works great also. I mowed about 2 Acres of saplings brush and other [censored] weeds this summer. That worked great also. The only thing that has happened is the drivers side seal on the hub of the front wheel leaked. it went to the shop and came back still leaking. I havent called them back yet, but am going to soon. I hope they really replaced it and not just filed some paint off the bolts and blew me off. I hate to even think that this dealer would do this. The sales department was great at the dealership and i would figure the service would be too. The guy who picked it up for service wouldnt lie on a bet and i dont know if he saw it even worked on i never asked him. BUT it still leaked i noticed 2 days after when i look on the floor. Other than that the tractor has been great. Lots of power and lots of FUN!

I use a 6' Woods blade for snow removal/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. I think I'm going to buy the skid shoes for it though, maybe I won't tear up so much of my gravel. I had to try out the smiley face, I have'nt done that before.

lblair,I had two seals replaced ,one on each side. They were on the upper half of the HST,where the pivot or upper 3ph arms come out. They used a differant sealer on the new seals and it's been ok so far. Other than that ,it's been flawless! We just don't have enough snow to give it a good work out.
Solo, I've got a Farm King Meteor 60 in. snowblower that I bought used last summer. It was like new but it sat outside and the paint was faded. The thing is smooth and quiet ,what little it's been used.Great machine ! Glad to hear you guys are happy with your "Lil'Blues". dass

My 18 is one of the best investments I've ever made. Had it for about a year and it has already come close to paying itself off. It has never failed to tackle any job I throw at it.

Does anyone have experience with a front mounted snowblower for the 18/21's? I see 3-point blowers quite a bit, but a front mounted blower seems like an easier piece of equipment to operate. I assume it would hook up to the FEL valves and run off the mid PTO. Is this right?

atomichead,I have never seen one or read much on them but I do know they're EXPENSIVE!! Seems I remember around 4K! My Farm King was $800 used . It does a GREAT job.

My dealer is comming to look at the leak in the morning. To deside if theyll fix it in the drivway or haul it back to the shop.

lblair, it sounds like they have a handle on it ! We don't have much snow here either,in central NY ,and we could use the moisture.Not enough rain last summer.
